Number 7 was chosen by Greeks who thought it to be representation of perfection. Many of the man made Wonders of the World were architectural marvels that cannot be replicated today. These wonders are located around the world a and shed light on the diverse cultures of the world. They also give us a clue on the development in ancient societies of the world. In the last few years there were polls to select new seven wonders of the world, which were selected after popular votes.
