I couldn’t believe that so many of the rotorua accommodation motels were booked out for the long weekend, I knew it would be a busy one with everything going on there but I didn’t think I would have to phone around so many places to try and find a place to stay. They do have a big cycle race happening there that weekend so I guess there will be lots of people heading there for that. I know a lot of people often have support teams for these races so I guess that’s why so many places are fully booked, I suppose I will just have to make a booking earlier next time.
