My Marriage was Like Being Locked Up
When I was married, my husband always discouraged me from working. He thought a woman’s place was at home doing laundry and keeping the house clean. After doing this for five long years, I got fed up with his chauvinistic ways and left him. This was a beginning of a new life for me. I moved to an apartment and got my first real job.
