When I tried to get in to one of the nursing programs at both of my local colleges, I was told that the waiting list was several years long. Even my good grades didn’t help as far as getting me higher up on the lists, so I decided to see about attending college another way. I researched online colleges for nursing, and there was one that was affordable and had immediate openings. I enrolled, and I worked hard in my courses so that I could graduate. Once I was done, I was able to pass my state boards examination, and now I have a great career.
