Thank god for the safety features on police traffic safety vests. My husband pulled a driver over yesterday for speeding. As he approached the car, the driver started acting funny and my husband became concerned. He walked back to his vehicle and called for backup. When the other officers got there, they came at the car from different directions. As one officer approached from the front, the driver suddenly took off. Tim’s safety vest caught on the driver’s side mirror as he tried to jump back and the vest broke away. The back tire did catch his foot and he is now in a cast, but we are all thankful it wasn’t more serious.
