Struggling Along
I work in a hotel in Louisiana right on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. I thought after Katrina that I would never see the area and recover. But just as we started getting back on our feet and this oil spill happened. I know that the owner of the hotel has applied to get payment from the BP fund, but things are still looking very grim. So far we have not had any layoffs, and the extra time that we have we spend cleaning the hotel so that when people come back and it will be beautiful and wonderful for them.
