I’ve been in Japan for a month, and I was just contacted by a boy from a local school. His father is in my class, and he wants to do a school project on how to teach english overseas. He wants to do an interview, to find out how I got started, what my background is, why I decided to come here, things like that. I told him that I would love to help. I was surprised at how good the boy’s English is already, he told me that he takes English in his school. He said he’s been helping his father to practice at home.
