I sat down on a park bench with my fresh hot dog covered in mustard and pickles and onions, and watched the hot dog vendor ply his trade. In the half hour I sat and watched, he sold roughly two dozen dawgs at two dollars each. He also sold 15 bags of chips at 75 cents a whack, and about 20 drinks at a dollar each. All together that comes up to around eighty dollars in half an hour, or over one hundred six dollars per hour in sales. Granted, it was lunch time, and he might only do that over one and a half to two hours per day, still, that’s pretty good money, and short hours!
