Aviation hardware engineer have to keep air traffic control operations at peak conditions, inspect on the hardware of flight controls and its working. Aviation hardware engineers have to manage all kinds of employees and airplanes and have to work away from home. The Aviation hardware engineer looks after all the processes related to air traffic control operations and flight. The Aviation hardware engineer performs ground handling and aircraft servicing and conduct routine aircraft inspections and aviation administrative duties. They also have to be adroit in examining landing gear, tires, wings, and engines for evidence of damage or corrosion, and to determine whether repairs are needed. Aviation hardware engineer check pilot flight logs to determine if service checks and maintenance checks were performed at preplanned intervals. They opine on specific hardware requirements, based on knowledge of operating conditions, flight simulation models and other factors. Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology is obligatory for being an Aviation hardware engineer. First level university degree in Aviation Engineering or graduation from equivalent military training institute is desirable. Professional Pilot License or Engineering License or Air Traffic Controller License is obligatory. Minimum of seven years technical experience in air traffic control operations is required too.
