A Computer Helps
A machine that can manipulate data is called computer. Many years ago, the only known computer was used in calculating. At the time when Renaissance came, computer was still a term applied to a machine that is used to count. When 17th century came, the term was also an alternatively applied to any person whose job was computing or calculating. The computer that we know today emerged only when mathematics and programmability were combined. In the 20th century, electronic computer began with Turing machine.
As computer technology continues to advance, the types of computer also increase together with high tech features and capabilities. At the turn of 20th century, large computers were invented that could be as large as one room. Nowadays, electronic computers can be as small a wristwatch to be embedded in anything. The most popular types of computers are personal computers which features, capabilities and prices are highly advantageous on many individuals. Computers of today are way more advanced than those which they preceded them.
