Classical Guitar Construction and the 12 String Guitar
There is no doubt that the 12 string guitar construction is not the same as the Classical Guitar Construction. Like the name says, they have 12 string which is double the amount of strings on a classic guitar. The 12 strings produce more of a ‘chorus’ effect than might find on a standard 6 string. It was a favorite of Rock Bands in the 1960′s and 1970′s looking for unique sounds. You have probably seen them before in old concert videos. They are the guitars that actually have two necks on them. It enabled the player two essentially have two guitars at the same time.
