Six Here, Six There
Currently, my husband and I are living between two different towns, because he does seasonal work. We spend six months out of the year in the town we went to college in, and my husband works for the Forest Service. Then, during the off season, we spend six months in our hometown, where we both work at the jobs we left when we went to college. For the most part it is easy moving back and forth, but our mail situation is always frustrating. We keep mailboxes at the post offices in both towns, so that we can get our mail wherever we live. It’s frustrating to have to pay for both boxes when we only use them six months out of the year, but if we don’t keep paying for them, we lose them and have to go on the waiting list again.
